Every participant should come home with about 50 handmade pastel sticks in your own custom colors! SIGN UP before January 31st so we know how much white to order! The cost is just $30 for returning students or $40 for new students. Make check payable to Thaleia’s Fine Arts and mail to 4880 Kingvale Road, El Dorado, CA 95623. Class being led by Connie Randmaa &/or Thaleia.
Location: We’re looking for a location in the Shingle Springs vicinity (below snow line) if you know of a place; otherwise it will be at Thaleia’s studio in El Dorado.
What to bring: Each student will be provided with your own supply of base white pastel & a selection of base colors to mix your own custom colors. Students should bring lots of latex type gloves, a roll of paper towels & a shallow box to carry your wet pastels home in (such as a plastic food container, baking pan, shoe box, or old pastel box). Also bring all of your old crumbles of pastel (if you have some) to make some awesome grey’s for your collection! We’ll have a Pot Luck Lunch so bring a favorite dish to share.
